The Changing Effects Of Clothing On Society

Clothing are things worn around the human body. In most cases, clothing is composed of synthetic textiles or artificial materials, but over the years it has also come to include clothing made from sheep skin and other soft sheets of natural materials and even natural animal skin taken from endangered animals. Common types of clothing include t-shirts, jeans, skirts, bathing suits, formal dresses and work clothing. Clothing can also be part of a costume, as was the case with Star Wars characters. Some clothing can be used for different functions.

Women’s clothing, for example, has come a long way since the days of frocks and sweaters. Tops that show off a woman’s curves have been given dresses, skirts and other styles that are appealing to women of all shapes and sizes. The transition from bare to wearing clothes frequently is evident in teenagers who change from their skater gear to more form-fitting clothing as they get older. One reason for this is because teenagers use clothing for practical reasons, such as when they need to fit into their vehicles, but they still want to look fashionable at parties.

The transition to frequent clothing wear is not limited to teenagers. While adults continue to purchase clothing for functional and utilitarian reasons, they are also increasingly comfortable with the idea of dressing casually. This is evident in the popularity of casual shirts and jeans. More casual clothing often does not have the same care and attention given to dressier clothes, which makes it more attractive to customers.
