T-Shirt Printing Guide

A T-shirt, also called a t-shirt, is a kind of short sleeve clothing, also called a shirt, round neck shirt, or crew neck shirt, characterized by its round or short neckline and short sleeves. Traditionally, it usually has round-shaped long sleeves and a short-sleeve collar, called a crew neck. T-shirts are often made of a light, stretchable and economical fabric like cotton polyester, and are quite easy to wash and dry. In recent years, the popularity of t-shirt printing has increased. With increasing number of people wearing t-shirt around the world, many have turned to t-shirt design printing to design unique t-shirt images and messages to express their own feelings and ideas.

The word “t-shirt” is derived from the Te word “tear”. A t-shirt is made of a material like cotton, polyester, silk, wool, nylon or a combination of different materials. The sleeve of the t-shirt generally covers the entire arm, while the rest of the shirt is left in the shape of a neckline. A t-shirt collar is elastic, and may either be stiff or loose. Some t-shirt collars are designed with zips or buttons; some are left without any fastening device, and are called open t-shirt collars.

T-shirt printing is generally done on solid colors like black, gray, white, and other solid hues. Colors can be combined for more complex designs or printed motifs. An embroidered t-shirt looks very attractive on a plain collar, while a printed t-shirt looks very attractive on a short-sleeved or crew-necked shirt. T-shirt printing offers many options for customizing a shirt.
